One person had possible serious injuries after an apartment fire Thursday morning in central Wichita.
The fire was reported shortly before 11 a.m. in the 100 block of South Kansas. Crews reported seeing flames coming from the 2nd floor of an apartment building in the neighborhood.
Crews had the fire out within a short time and an unidentified person was being taken to a hospital for treatment of burns to his face and neck. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
