The list of performers is growing for Sunday’s Grammy Awards. Lainey Wilson and Brad Paisley have been added along with Stevie Wonder and Chris Martin from Coldplay. This year’s show will be used to help relief efforts for the Los Angeles wildfires.
Shaboozey, Megan Moroney, Post Malone, and Cody Johnson will be part of a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame highlighting the continued growth and expansion of country music.
Sam Hunt has been arrested again. He was arrested earlier this month on charges of speeding and violating an interlock device. He was charged, jailed, and released on $1,500; it’s his second arrest in the last five years, after a 2019 arrest on DUI charges. Since the arrest, the charges have been dismissed.
In Kane Brown’s new song “Backseat Driver,” a song he didn’t write, there’s a line in there that really bugs his wife Katelyn. It’s that line about the drive-thru. It bothers her because Kane describes her as “so organic” and that food is completely opposite of their lifestyle.
Eric Church is continuing to help his home state of North Carolina. He has donated the use of his song “Carolina” to the city of Ashville for them to use in their new tourism ad campaign, inviting people to visit the area and “be a part of the comeback.”
Jelly Roll is doing something extra for all the first responders fighting the California Wildfires. After this week’s big FireAid benefit concert, he’s going to stick around and do a free show at the Rose Bowl the next day only for First Responders.
