Today, the AWESOME is in Buffalo. The AFC Championship was a shootout, and in the end, it was the Chiefs heading to Super Bowl 59, but some might argue Buffalo won, too. That win came last week after the AFC divisional round game against the Ravens. After Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews dropped that ball on the 2-point conversion, he felt awful. Worse yet, after the game, he received death threats from some Ravens fans. So it was the crazy, table-smashing fan base known as “The Bills Mafia” to the rescue. Fans of Bills decided to donate to start a Gofundme page and donate to Mark’s charity to support juvenile diabetes patients and research. As of this morning, after an initial goal of $5,000, they have raised almost $144K. When fans show that some things are bigger than the game, THAT’s AWESOME.
