A number of school districts are either closed or having a delayed start for classes on Tuesday, because of the latest round of snow and bitter cold temperatures.
The Wichita school district has canceled classes for Tuesday because of the dangerous wind chills during the time when students will be walking to school or waiting for the bus. All staff will report to work and Tuesday will be a professional learning day.
• All school-based staff and long-term subs will report at 8 a.m.
• All non-attendance center staff (AMAC, ISC, IST, SSC) will work as regularly scheduled.
• Other Guest Staff will not report to work.
All evening events and activities will go on as scheduled.

The Wichita State University campus will be open but classes will be remote. Employees who are unable to safely get to work or get around on campus are being told to contact their supervisor or department head.
