Today, we salute 101-year-old World War II and Korean War Veteran Thomas Davis. Thomas served his country proudly and now lives in Texas, where everyone over the age of 85 has to renew their driver’s license every 2 years. Thomas has done that repeatedly and just did it again at the age of 101. He said there was nothing to it, some paperwork and an eye test, and he passed. He’s not the first driver in his family over 100. His brother set the bar at the age of 103. Also, besides a speeding ticket long ago, Thomas’ driving record is spotless. Congratulations on staying behind the wheel, Thomas, and THANK YOU for your service.
