A Wichita man has pleaded guilty to a federal child pornography charge.
The plea was entered by 34-year-old Alexander James Rosell to one count of possession of child pornography. He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 4th, and he faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
Prosecutors said Rosell’s activity was discovered through an international investigation into a dark web website, and reports were made on IP addresses connected to a residence that Rosell had access to. In executing a search warrant at the home, investigators found child pornography images on a cell phone and several laptops.
