Today, we salute Veteran Delma Edwards. After 24 years of service, she retired as an Air Force Master Sergeant in 2017. Edwards then packed her bags and moved to Alaska with her husband. When she arrived, she began exploring different creative outlets to keep herself busy. Little did she know it would come to her while sitting at a sewing machine. Delma says she finds sewing very therapeutic while focusing on creating her quilts. That led to her opening the Eagle River Quiltworks shop, and now she’s creating quilts for the Alaskan military community and connecting with people. Delma also teaches classes to help others with their emotional well-being. Thank you for giving back, Delma, and THANK YOU for your service.
