Today, we salute Vietnam Veteran Harry Earehart. Imagine if we all took a little time out of our day each week to clean up our community like Harry and his wife, Rosemary. Over the last six months they committed to cleaning up their community and picked up recyclable plastic. Each week, they would drop their bags off at their local Kroger, which would ship them out to a company that makes outdoor products. Over six months, they collected 1,000 pounds of plastic, and that company turned it into a park bench for his local Veterans Park. For his efforts, he is being honored by his local VFW. Thank you for caring about your community, Harry, and THANK YOU for your service.
