Kansas Senators Jerry Moran and Roger Marshall have been assigned to committee posts for the 119th Congress.

Senator Moran will return to being Chairman of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs (SVAC) in addition to new committee assignments as a member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry and the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs.   He will also serve on the Senate Committee on Appropriations, the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Senator Marshall will maintain his position and rise in seniority on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, as well as the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, & Pensions, (HELP) and the Senate Budget Committee. By retaining his position on the Agriculture Committee, Senator Marshall will play a crucial role in getting a new Farm Bill completed and ensuring that Kansas agriculture priorities are addressed.   He will also serve on the Senate Finance Committee.
