The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said a 23-year-old Belleville man has been arrested for the death of his three-month-old daughter.
The man was arrested Thursday on a warrant for first degree murder and felony abuse of a child.
The KBI said the infant was taken to the Republic County hospital on December 25th, and she was later transferred to a hospital in Omaha, where she died on December 29th.
The father was booked into the Jefferson County, Nebraska jail and the investigation is continuing.
