A man who was charged with sex crimes in Cowley County was found dead outside his home in Arkansas City.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said 40-year-old Brian Black was found around noon on December 28th, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Black had been released on bond after he was charged with rape and other crimes committed against a 16-year-old victim. He was arrested in early December after the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance with an investigation.
