The Kansas Highway Patrol reported one death over the New Year’s holiday period from a non-DUI related crash. The Patrol reported 12 DUI arrests during the holiday period, which ran from 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 31st through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1st.
The death was the result of a single vehicle crash early Wednesday that killed a Colorado man in Hamilton County.
