Today, the AWESOME is in Spokane, Washington. Mom of two, Ashley was having a really bad dad but still wanted to do a little something nice for herself and her kids, so they went to lunch at a place called the boiler room.  The kids weren’t having it and added to her stress by being restless and misbehaving despite her best efforts to enjoy lunch. Her waitress, Amber, recognized all this and went above and beyond to help. She even told Ashley before she left that she was doing a great job. Later that day, Ashely posted about that being the kindness she needed that day, and the story went viral. Enter Rick Clark, who saw the story, rallied friends, neighbors, and other moms, and raised over $1500 in cash and gift cards for Amber as a way to say thank you for being you. When kindness leads to kindness, that’s what it’s all about, and THAT’S AWESOME.
