The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is moving its Offender Registration Unit to a new location.

The unit has been located at the Wichita Mall at 3803 East Harry, but starting Thursday, January 2nd, it will be on the second floor of the Sedgwick County Courthouse at 525 North Main.

All services provided at the current facility, including offender registration functions and fingerprinting for employment purposes and concealed carry permits, will continue to be offered at the new location.

Visitors to the new ORU office should access the Sedgwick County Courthouse through the main entrance. After passing through the security checkpoint, they can proceed to the second floor via the stairs or elevators located in the main lobby.

The ORU’s hours of operation will remain Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
