A woman and her dog are in critical condition after a fire in her home overnight. Crews were called to the 1000 block of S. Ida to find fire showing in the front part of the house. Firefighters entered the home to find the woman and her dog unconscious. Both were treated with oxygen and the woman was taken to a local hospital and the dog to a local emergency vet. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
