McPherson County Sheriff’s deputies and Inman police officers are looking into an incident that involved shots being fired in an Inman neighborhood.
The shots were reported around 9 a.m. in the 300 block of South Maple.
The Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement agencies have secured the scene and emergency crews are helping with the response. Residents in the neighborhood were advised to shelter in place until further notice, and the public was urged to avoid the area. Classes at Inman School were closed for the day.
