The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office said a Goddard man was killed last weekend in a hunting accident south of Burrton.
Deputies said the accident happened around 7 a.m. Saturday in the 8200 block of South Prairie Lake Road. They said three people were hunting in a duck blind when one of them accidentally fired a shotgun. The gunshot fatally wounded one hunter. No one else was injured.
The Sheriff’s Office said 41-year-old Aaron Snook of Goddard was pronounced dead at the scene. The death has been ruled accidental.
