Firefighters were called to an east Wichita hotel Friday afternoon on a report of a fire in the building.
The Holiday Inn near Kellogg and Rock Road was evacuated as crews went in to battle a fire on the seventh floor. The fire was contained to one room, and fire officials said the sprinkler system helped to keep the fire from spreading.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
