Today, we salute Navy Veteran Robin Bullock. A few years ago, Robin was homeless, and it was only after he turned to the Salvation Army for help that things turned around for him. With very few options Robin reached out to the Salvation Army. They interviewed him, and provided him with transitional housing, and in the 18 months he was there, he attended group therapy class once a week with other Veterans. He now has an apartment to call his own, and things are trending upward. Robin said that if not for the Salvation Army and their iconic red kettles, he’d still be living in his car. Instead, he’s back on his feet and doing things he enjoys, like learning to paint, taking guitar lessons, and paddleball. Congratulations on your new life, Robin, and THANK YOU for your service.
