A dedication ceremony and ribbon-cutting was held Wednesday for a new public parkway in Wichita’s Delano neighborhood.
The Chisholm Trail Parkway is located at 150 North Dodge, northwest of the intersection of Douglas and Seneca. The parkway has reworked an abandoned railway corridor into a linear park, dog park, walking path and bike path. There are future plans for a special needs playground.
The Delano United neighborhood organization has been working on the project.
