Charges have been filed against a Wichita woman who struck a pedestrian with her car earlier this week in the southeast part of the city.

A charge of aggravated battery was filed against 27-year-old Alexandria Rodriguez.  She is also charged with driving with a suspended license and three counts of aggravated endangering of a child.  Police said there were three children in her car at the time of the accident.

Police said 21-year-old Caitlyn Slagle, who goes by Katherine, was in the crosswalk at Lincoln and Rock Road when she was struck by a northbound car Monday night.  She was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Katherine.
