Charges have been filed against a Wichita woman who struck a pedestrian with her car earlier this week in the southeast part of the city.
A charge of aggravated battery was filed against 27-year-old Alexandria Rodriguez. She is also charged with driving with a suspended license and three counts of aggravated endangering of a child. Police said there were three children in her car at the time of the accident.
Police said 21-year-old Caitlyn Slagle, who goes by Katherine, was in the crosswalk at Lincoln and Rock Road when she was struck by a northbound car Monday night. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
