Today, the Awesome comes from Aurora, Illinois. Postal worker Jaylen Lockhart had a very unexpected Thanksgiving, all due to his quick thinking and kindness. A couple of weeks ago, Guy Miller was out walking his dog when he took a hard fall. Without hesitation, Jaylen rushed to help Guy. Admittedly, Jaylen said he wasn’t sure what he was getting himself into, but whatever Guy was going through, they were going to go through it together. Despite the scary fall, Guy only suffered minor injuries. What was gained was the gift of friendship and an invitation to Thanksgiving, and that’s AWESOME.
