A Wichita man has been found guilty of attempted first degree murder for trying to drown his pregnant girlfriend in 2020.
A jury returned a guilty verdict for 23-year-old Dominic Thomas. Prosecutors said he dragged his pregnant 17-year-old girlfriend into a pond near 37th Street North and Sullivan and then held her head underwater. Police said Thomas was mad that his other girlfriend had seen baby shower photos online.
A date has not been scheduled for sentencing.
