A Wichita man is accused of luring a 14-year-old runaway to Kansas and then sexually assaulting the teen.
In a hearing Friday, 21-year-old Samuel Loredo was charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child, two counts of contributing to a child’s misconduct, three counts of criminal sodomy with a child, indecent solicitation of a child and aggravated interference with parental custody.
Loredo was arrested Monday in the 2300 bock of North Woodlawn after police were contacted by officials in Murray, Kentucky about a teen runaway who was believed to be in Wichita. Officers found the missing teen wandering in the area, and detectives learned that Loredo had communicated with the teen and arranged for the teen to travel to Wichita.
