An unidentified woman was taken to a hospital in very critical condition after being hit by a car in west Wichita.
The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday at Central and West Street. A 48-year-old woman was taken to a hospital as police blocked southbound and eastbound traffic.
The driver of the car, a 51-year-old woman, remained on the scene to talk with officers.
