A national championship event for women’s lacrosse will be returning to Wichita for the second straight year.

Visit Wichita will be hosting the USA Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) in 2025.   All games will be played at the SCHEEL’s Stryker Sports Complex at 29th Street North and Greenwich Road.  and the tournament will run from May 7th through the 10th.

Nearly 150 non-varsity collegiate teams comprise the WCLA and compete under the USA Lacrosse umbrella. The annual Division I and Division II National Championships will showcase the WCLA’s premier teams, featuring 16 Division I clubs and 12 Division II teams vying for titles.

Last year’s championship in Wichita produced a pair of first-time champions, with UCLA claiming the Division I title and Vermont winning the Division II championship. The event also received strong local support and interest.
