Sedgwick County investigators are looking into the death of a woman in her home in Clearwater.
Clearwater police and Sedgwick County EMS crews were called to a home around 10:20 Thursday morning in the 300 block of South Tracy. They found the body of 45-year-old Melina Hinkle. Another person was in the home and that person called 911 for help.
The Sheriff’s Office said there were no signs of trauma and the cause of death is pending toxicology results. An autopsy will be conducted by the Sedgwick County Coroner’s Office.
Detectives were still at the home Friday to continue the investigation.
