I think we all have a hidden talent. Maybe it disguised itself all these years, and now that it’s come to the service, you refer to it as a “hobby I just picked up one day.”  Give yourself some credit; that hidden talent, that skill, that passion, the raw skill, have always been there.

Cooking, writing, and photography come to mind. Lately, I’ve really been enjoying spending time writing.

Let’s talk about Jackson Dean. Clearly, singing and songwriting are not a hidden talent; that’s his wheelhouse, the thing that’s making him money. However, while scrolling TikTok the other night, I found out that “Don’t Come Looking” singer Jackson Dean is a very talented wood-burning artist. Check out this gift he made for Lainey Wilson.

Country’s always gonna be cool. This is for all the crazy miles we’ve put down on the road. Thank you @Lainey Wilson for bringin me and my men and @Zach Top out this past year. Here’s a little end of tour present.

As it turns out, while Jackson was working on a surprise for Lainey, she had a surprise for him too. Presenting him with the plaque that certified “Don’t Come Lookin'” as Platinum and “Fearless” as gold.

It feels like I’ve had a whole hell of a lotta reasons to celebrate lately and this one is extra special. Thank you so damn much to everyone who helped me on this journey. I’m so proud of this and of all of us and for everyone out there singin their asses off in the crowd every night. I can’t thank y’all enough. Yeh baby. Here’s to many more @Lainey Wilson @Big Machine

If this singing and songwriting thing doesn’t work out, he could legitimately make a good living selling and commissioning artwork to everyone from you and I to A-list celebs.
