Two people were seriously injured in a house fire Friday night in south Wichita.
Crews were sent to the 5700 block of South Mead around 9:15 p.m. There was a report of someone trapped inside the home and crews were able to get two people out of the home and to a hospital. They were being treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire was put out quickly and the cause is under investigation.
