Shots were fired at a home in north Wichita late Wednesday night, killing one person and injuring another.
Police said the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Mascot, which is northwest of the intersection of 21st Street North and Arkansas. An unidentified woman had very critical injuries and she later died at a hospital. A man in the home was seriously hurt.
Police are still investigating and there’s no word on a motive or suspects.
