Wichita police have arrested a 61-year-old man in connection with a Halloween night shooting incident at an apartment complex.
The man was booked into jail for a shooting that happened at an apartment near Harry and Webb Road. Police said the man was asked to leave the apartment, but he returned and knocked on the door. When the door was opened, the man pointed a handgun inside and fired a shot.
A 44-year-old man was hit in the upper body and he was taken to a hospital. Police said the gunman and the victim knew each other.
