The Sedgwick County Election Office has mailed notices to voters who will be casting ballots at two locations for the November general election. There has been a name change for the two sites.
Northwest Christian Church at 10850 West 21st Street North is now called Refuge Church. The West Side Church of God at 1900 West McCormick is now Redeemer Church.
Yard signs at the two locations will make voters aware that they can still cast ballots there. Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater said voters will still see the former church names on the ballots because they were finalized back in September. They will also see the former names if they check their assigned polling place and see a sample ballot at the Kansas Secretary of State’s web page.
