Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened late Thursday night at an east Wichita convenience store.
Police were called to a disturbance around 10:30 p.m. outside a QuikTrip at Central and Oliver. Two teenagers went to Wesley Medical Center with gunshot wounds shortly after the incident. A 14-year-old boy died and a 15-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police said up to 15 shots may have been fired during the disturbance. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, but several arrests were made at the scene for other charges. Police were still on the scene Friday morning
