Today, the AWESOME is in Swedeborg, Missouri. Claudene Wilson is and has been dedicated to her job and the kids at the elementary school where she has worked for years. She has been a custodian, plumber, handywoman, bus driver, and more. Her hard work did not go unnoticed. In a touching tribute to the long-time custodian, the town of Swedeborg decided to rename the school Claudene has worked at for all these years to Claudene Wilson Learning Center. Claudene said, “I’m not here to say I’m a hero. I’m not, it’s an honor to work here. I just do it for the kids.” Being an inspiration to all by just doing little things that make a big difference, Claudene, THAT’s AWESOME.
