Today, we honor Army Veteran Douglas Macmillan. Douglas served from 1986 to 2015, including infantry, transportation, and logistics. In 2004, he was deployed to Kuwait; in 2008, he served as the deputy commanding officer for the 55th Sustainment Brigade in Iraq. Macmillan received many awards and decorations, including a Legion of Merit, a Bronze Star Medal, an Army Meritorious Service Medal (with two Oak Leaf Clusters), an Army Commendation Medal (with three Oak Leaf Clusters), an Army Achievement Medal (with two Oak Leaf Clusters) and National Defense Service Medal with a Service Star.  In his retirement he spends time with his wife of 37 years and their daughter.
