Today, the Awesome is in Kansas City. Emily Worthington owns KC Flower Co., and recently, something special happened. A woman came, purchased several flower bouquets, and then handed them back. She told Emily to give them away to someone who needed them. Emily wasn’t sure who to give them to until later that day when a customer approached Emily, looking for flowers for a funeral. The woman had just lost her sister-in-law to breast cancer. In an instant, Emily knew the flowers had found their home. A beautiful story of kindness and compassion thanks to something as simple as flowers. THAT’S AWESOME.
