Emergency crews will be involved in a disaster exercise Thursday at Wichita’s Eisenhower National Airport.
The exercise will stage a simulated disaster to test the response plans and capabilities of local agencies. It will involve Wichita airport police and fire crews, Sedgwick County EMS, Wesley Medical Center, Sedgwick County Emergency Management staff, the South Central Kansas Health Care Coalition, and other agencies.
The crews will begin work at 8 a.m. and the exercise will begin at 10 a.m., concluding around 1:30 p.m.
