Textron Aviation has made the second contract offer to workers who are members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 70, Local Lodge 774. Textron Aviation said the new contract responds to the negotiating committee’s request for an extended contract duration by adding a year of General Wage Increase to provide “stability” to employees and their families. Striking workers say they don’t see enough of a difference from the last offer.
