The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday that no charges will be filed in the death of a man who was struck and killed by a Wichita police car.
A police SUV hit 51-year-old Jeffrey Moss on the evening of February 17th at Seneca and MacArthur. Moss was walking north and crossing MacArthur when he was struck.
The crash was investigated by the Kansas Highway Patrol, and the District Attorney’s Office said after a review, there was insufficient evidence of any criminal liability on the part of the officer driving the vehicle.
