Today, we salute Veteran Chad Pfeifer. Chad is medically retired from his service because while serving in Iraq, he lost his leg. That injury presented plenty of day-to-day challenges, especially in his family’s current home. Thanks to the nonprofit Homes For Our Troops, his life had been changed for the better. Chad was just handed the keys to his brand-new, 2800-square-foot home. It took 29 months to build and has been specially adapted to serve his needs.
