Even the CMM has a case of “The Mondays.” On Sunday, we learned on Saturday that country music legend and singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson passed away in Maui at the age of 88.
Hurricane Helene and its remnants left a path of destruction, including Luke Combs’s hometown of Asheville, NC, which saw some of the worst flooding since 1916. Luke pledges to help his home region. While details are still emerging, it seems Combs is planning a major benefit effort, possibly a concert or a fundraiser.
Jelly Roll stormed NYC over the weekend and helped kick off the 50th season of SNL. As the musical guest, he performed“Liar” and a new song, “Winning Streak.”

And, Miranda Lambert has more hardware for her awards and trophy case thanks to her horse. Miranda and her horse just won a blue ribbon at the Oklahoma State Fair.
