Today the Awesome stays right here in Wichita. Jay Devilliers, a local and professional pickleball player on the PPA Tour, says he’s blessed to be turning 30 this year with some amazing people in life. Inspired by the people he surrounds himself with, he wants to do something for the kids here in Wichita. He just announced his “3o for 30” fundraiser.
In collaboration with Rainbows United, a terrific local charitable organization that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with special needs and their families, Devilliers has launched an online fundraising effort. The goal is to build a new turf playground that will provide a safe and accommodating space for children of all abilities to play and thrive. Jay and his wife are aiming to raise $30,000 by his 30th birthday on December 18th. Every contribution will make a significant impact on this meaningful project.
Any funds remaining after the playground’s completion will be utilized to purchase new chairs for the Early Care and Education classrooms, further benefiting the children in need.
