An unidentified man is dead and police have a suspect in custody after a fatal shooting Sunday at an apartment complex in northeast Wichita.
The shooting was reported around 5:45 p.m. at the Inwood Crossing Apartments in the 3500 block of North Inwood, southwest of the intersection of 37th Street North and Rock Road.
Officers found a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A 35-year-old woman surrendered to police a short time later and investigators are still looking into the circumstances involved in the shooting.
