An Arkansas City woman was killed and another person was injured in a one-vehicle crash Friday morning in Cowley County.
A statement from the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office said a vehicle was going north on 61st Road when it went out of control and rolled several times about a mile north of the Kansas-Oklahoma border.
The crash killed 21-year-old Maleah Shae Archer, who was thrown from the vehicle. 30-year-old Andy Owen Minnie of Arkansas City was taken to a Wichita hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
