Two people were injured, one critically, in a shooting early Sunday afternoon at an apartment complex in west Wichita.
The shooting was reported around 12:45 p.m. at the Maple Ridge Apartments at Maple and Ridge Road.
One person was found with gunshot wounds and taken to a hospital in critical condition. Another person was found with minor injuries after officers stopped a car in the area.
Police were talking to a number of people but there was no word of any arrests.
