The Kansas Department of Transportation is planning to close an exit ramp from I-235 to K-96 for the next few weeks.
The ramp to be closed is from northbound I-235 to westbound K-96. Crews will be working to repair the concrete surface, paint bearings, patch deck and repair joints. The work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It is estimated reconstruction will conclude and this section of roadway will be reopened in early October, depending on weather conditions.
