The Kansas Highway Patrol arrested an armed man on the state fairgrounds Friday night, the first night of the Kansas State Fair.
Trooper Tod Hileman said in a social media post that the man was brandishing the weapon. He was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
