Today, the AWESOME is in Wichita. Something special will be happening at Naftzger Park on Friday morning. It’s the grand opening of The Kindness Canteen, starting at 7:30am. The new Kindness Canteen program is a food truck concept, operated and run by individuals with special needs. This provides job training, culinary skills and real-time application. This is a program of the Down Syndrome Society of Wichita. Enjoying a tasty breakfast while helping a great cause and some amazing humans, THAT’S AWESOME.
