Heartspring has acquired two buildings in downtown Wichita that will be part of a planned Healthcare Corridor.

The buildings are at the intersection of Topeka and English, adjacent to the Wichita Biomedical Campus that is under construction.   The buildings will allow Heartspring to make a significant expansion of its pediatric outpatient services, currently located at K-96 and Webb Road.

Heartspring officials said the new space downtown will be a cutting-edge, multi-clinic healthcare facility that will offer diagnosis and clinical interventions for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, disabilities, intellectual and learning delays, autism and ADHD.

The location near the Wichita Biomedical Campus will provide for enhanced research, workforce development, and partnership opportunities with Wichita State University, WSU Tech, the University of Kansas and others.   Heartspring plans to begin designing for renovation and reconstruction of the new space this fall, with plans to occupy the buildings in the next four to six years.
