1. Special counsel Jack Smith is not letting the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling in favor of Donald Trump and those who hold higher office, deter him from bringing the former president to just for his role in the January 6tht attack on the capitol. Smith just filed another indictment against Trump which is being endorsed by a new grand jury.
2. Eastern Equine Encephalitis has some New England states on alert. A woman in New Hampshire has died from the mosquito borne infection, the first such death in 10 years. Massachusetts is on a state of high alert and taking measures such as restricting some outdoor activities and closing parks from dusk till dawn.

Instead of getting the bad, Lucy May got a case of the zoomies, rounded 2nd and dropped a mound near the mound in front of the home crowd. It was quickly cleaned up, play resumed and the team said Lucy May would keep her job, although there is some talk in renaming her “Deucy Lucy”
